I was able to immediately understand the basic and advanced features. I like the ability to manually adjust the irrigation or use the smart function. I like being able to adjust both via the app and outside, directly at the station, via the buttons in the box. You can keep it simple and let the system automatically make adjustments based on weather and lawn functions, or you can easily access the many advanced features available for people who want to customize the variety of advanced deep irrigation features. Ideal to be able to turn on stations, to test standing in the yard with the phone app and not having to run back and forth to box. *In the “Details of smart watering of the area” section, > ADJUSTMENTS TO THE IRRIGATION PLAN. I`d like to see – the exact days and times it`s going to water and the duration – AFTER adjusting sliders like “run setting” and “interval adjustments” to get a user-friendly view of what the automated system does. When I turn on Smart Water, I`m not sure because I can`t “see” the actual schedule (date/execution). I had an Orbit brand installed on this house when I bought it, but something went wrong and it needed to be replaced. I went to Lowe`s to pick up a new one and saw this WiFi version. Since my home is rather “connected”, i.e. we tapped ourselves with Alexa, smart plugs, smart lights, etc., I thought it was appropriate to make my irrigation system smart as well. Very glad I did. Once we wired it properly (5 zones), setting up the timer on our home network (via WiFi) was super easy and programming the 5 zones was a breeze.

It took less than 5 minutes to connect it to my network, test the zones and program 5 zones. If you are used to using apps, the shared app interface makes it much easier to navigate and use, which is much easier than programming an irrigation timer with the LCD screen and buttons on the timer itself. Also, you can make a rain delay directly in the app (not necessary if you have a rain sensor. I don`t). There are 4 “programs” so you can program the same areas on multiple programs and enable/disable them with a slider.. .
